Relaxing evening with great Italian food
We had dinner with friends at Amici last evening.

Our friends live in West Vancouver and this is one of their favorite restaurants. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food that they serve.

Our friends shared a spinach salad that looked wonderfult. The spinach was nice and fresh and it had a prosciutto and toasted baguette on top. Hubby and I shared Spaghetti Carbonara. The spaghetti was nicely cooked al dente and the sauce was rich and creamy. For our main courses 2 of us ordered the smoked black cod and the others ordered meal loaf (a special of the day) and rack of lamb. All of the meals were amazing. My cod was perfectly cooked. It was nice and moist and was very flavourful. On the rack of lamb hubby was give the option of either half a rack (5 chops) or a full rack (8 chops). He ordered the half rack and it was more than enough. The half rack was $24.95 which is very reasonable for rack of lamb. For dessert one order of creme brulee and one order of ice cream.
